Deep TouchMassage · Addis Ababa

About

A small spa built around one idea: proper pressure, properly given.

Deep Touch Massage opened on Djibouti St to serve the part of Addis Ababa that keeps odd hours — drivers, nurses, hospitality staff, travellers arriving off night flights, and anyone whose body finally complains at an inconvenient time.

The room is deliberately plain and warm. No music you have to endure, no packages pushed at the door. Guests have rated the spa 4.3 across 32 Google reviews, and most of the people on our table this week were here last month too.

We take the physical work seriously: consultation first, pressure checked throughout, water and rest afterwards.

How we work

Trained hands

Our therapists work in deep tissue and sports modalities, with ongoing practice, not weekend certificates.

Clean by habit

Fresh linens for every guest, sanitised stones and tools, and rooms aired between sessions.

Honest pressure

Deep does not mean painful. We check in through the session and adjust rather than push.

Always open

Twenty-four hours, every day of the year, including holidays.

The therapists

A small permanent team, so you can ask for the same person again. Each one is trained in deep tissue and Swedish technique, with additional practice in sports recovery and reflexology. They will tell you honestly when a shorter, focused session would serve you better than a full hour.
